As of 1/11/2025 Surf Beach Surgery is a Medicare Bulk-Billing Practice.

This means all standard, chronic disease, immunisation, mental health and aged care consultations will be bulk-billed for everyone, meaning no out of pocket costs to you. I’m sure many of you will appreciate this saving.

Please be aware that to enable the practice to stay financially viable, some services will still incur a fee.

PLEASE BE PREPARED TO BE CHARGED FOR THE FOLLOWING SERVICES:
- Anaesthetic Consultations
- ECGs
- Skin lesion removals or biopsies
- Venesections
- Pregnancy tests
- Implanon insertions or removals
- Tongue tie procedures
- Dressings where you do not see a doctor
- Insurance matters including Workcover consultations
- Pre-employment Medicals and other consultations that do not attract a Medicare rebate

We hope that these changes can enable Surf Beach Surgery to continue to provide you with the high standard of care we all value, with lower out-of-pocket expenses for you.
